I have extensive experience in academia, the private sector, and the NSW and Australian governments, with a strong background in corporate governance and financial management. My most recent experience includes being Chief Financial Officer and Chief Information Officer for the Department of Finance from 2000 to 2007, followed by four years working with the Government of Papua New Guinea to establish internal audit and independent audit committees across the public sector.
Now running my own consultancy business, I wish to contribute some of my time to the community. I offered my expertise in finance and audit, governance, information technology and business to Focus ACT and was appointed a Director in 2013. Because of my knowledge of commercialisation in government and of the private sector, I am pleased to be part of the team to address the challenges facing Focus ACT with the advent of the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
Dominic was appointed as a Director in 2013 for his expertise in finance and audit, governance, information technology and business development. Dominic’s qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and a Masters in Commerce with Honours. He is a Fellow of CPA Australia and a Member of the Institute of Internal Auditors. Dominic is the Director of Willoring Apiaries Pty Ltd.
