Dietitian Services

We offer dietitian services to support people to live their lives. Our services are mobile and we are equipped to provide video or telephone assessments to suit each client’s individual needs.

Focus ACT has a commitment to provide supports that show respect for diversity, promote inclusion, increase choice, and control and promote equality of opportunity. We work with people of all ages.

Some of the more common services we provide are:

General dietary advice

Counselling for lifestyle changes

Nutrition care plans for you and your support providers

Mealtime management plans for texture-modified and sensory diets

Meal planning frameworks and adapted recipes

Shopping and cooking skills training for you and your support providers

Workshops and training for Disability Support Providers

All new clients will receive an initial assessment. During this assessment, the Dietician will discuss the client’s specific goals and may recommend some of the services listed above.

Following the initial assessment, you will receive an assessment summary along with your intervention program that details services and associated pricing, so that you know exactly what you are getting with your funding.
