Focus ACT Staff Council

The Focus Staff Council was established at the start of the new financial year. The Council is represented by casual staff who are elected by their peers and is led by a Chairperson elected by the other members.

The primary aim of establishing the Staff Council is to enable and empower all staff to contribute towards creating a safe and happy workplace.

Council representatives regularly meet with their peers in the field and obtain valuable information on all aspects of their work, including the challenges they face. The Council then meets to discuss this feedback and communicate all valid concerns to Management for them to address.

The Council is independent of Focus Management and functions based on its own Terms of Reference.
